Yamaha engine hour gauge
When you repower, the hour gauge does not reset to zero
So the new base line is 941 hours
When I repowered the Scout the hour gauge read 941 Hours
When breaking in the new Yamaha I followed the protocol suggested by Yamaha
1st HOUR 200 RPM MAX, VARY SPEED
2ND HOUR GET BOAT ON PLANE 15 MIN THEN 15 MIN OFF PLANE
3RD HOUR TO 10TH HOUR RUN WIDE OPEN 5 MIN AT A TIME
AFTER 10 HOURS GAGE READ 951
AFTER 20 HOURS GAGUE READ 961 Engine broke in
Proper break in maintenance done 1/7/2025
Changed engine oil and filter
Inspect and gap spark plugs
Inspect fuel filter
Change gear oil
Adjust & lube cables & fittings
