Any Baum lake reports????

Looking to take my 7 year old son up to Baum this weekend with hopes of getting him onto a few fish up there on a fly rod. Its been a few years since I have been there. I just read the post from a month or two ago about work being done and the water was high, does anyone know if that is still the case? Just trying to not make a miserable trip for my son, would hate to drive 3 hours each way to find its not fishable! Lastly, any tips out there are welcome! Thanks all!
