June and October are very good months for mid-elevation trout in streams and lakes.

Lance is an expert with lake fishing, especially on Lake Almanor, where he has a cabin.

This class will move you up in your ability to fish deep with an indicator in lakes.

Stillwater expert Hal Janssen and his love wife Jane, have a home on Almanor too.

    Thanks
Deepwater indicator is an essential method for Pyramid Lake at the beginning and end of the season (October and June). This along with heavy jigs allows you to get to the depths the fish are holding (25-40 feet in general).

    Woodman,

Yes - you're right. Fishing deep down into the thermals on stillwater is key to catching big fish!!

    Thank You!
