Default South Florida Help for Peacock Bass

I go to Stuart FL every couple of years to visit my brother-in-law and sister-in-law. Had a lot of fun off the beach, on Bill's home turf on the Sebastian River, for snook and tarpon out of Stuart, and elsewhere. This April, I want to find a guide and go south to catch some peacock bass.

Anybody have any guide recommendations for Palm Beach and south? Any other advice?

    Thanks.

    Bill,

I fished with a guide up your way a few years ago (on your recommendation). I think it was Eric Davis. We had a great trip on the Sebastian River. His website now seems to be shut down. Is he still in the guiding game? Do you have contact info.

    Thanks.

Captain Justin Nguyen is the top fly fishing guide for Peacock bass in southern Florida.

Mention my old friend Captain Frank Catino's name.

Had a great day yesterday fishing with Captain Justin Nguyen. Really knowledgeable on the northern Everglades.

100+ fish day: 20 peacocks, 10 LMB, too many Mayan Cichlids and Oscars to count, and even a nice Bowfin.

If you're in South Florida take a day and try this fishery.

OMG...Steve Potter and I will have to go out with him.

    Thanks for the great report.

Like I said before, Florida fishing is totally underrated.

Just talked with Justin and he said that March through June is a very good time to fish with him.

He said he is guiding every day right now. He has some openings in May/June.

July/Aug/Sept is like Hell here in Florida, day and night. Many night fish then.

Justin said the Fall was good too.

Steve Potter and I will be going with him soon.

It is only 2.5 hours from my house to the fishing.
