I have that very same rod. 400 grain airflow skagit short works good on that rod.

Unfortunately they stop Making it. You can land a decent size steelhead on it, I’ve even used it in the lower Yuba feather, Trinity.

I'm going to try throwing a Commando head on it, 325 grains with a 110 grain tip. We'll see how it goes.
