He tied thousands of flies for Kiene's.

Many years ago I learned this from Bob Giannoni.


After Bob bought some commercially tied dry flies he would take some thin head cement and put some on the head

and some under the tail.


Most would flatten the barbs then and some would put Scotchgarde on them before putting them in a fly box.
