Hello fellow anglers,

I am trying to help a buddy of mine by listing a rod he built and is wanting to sell.
Let me rephrase that... he is NEEDING to sell.

Mike Grady of Mike Grady's Custom Rods is a fishing buddy of mine. He's a local who's fished the American River since the 1980's. He's a great guy, very kind, very humble but also a very skilled rod builder. He is the ONLY NFC-Certified rod builder - licensed by Gary Loomis, himself - in our area.

I'm sure he will be happy to meet up at the river and let you use/feel the rod before you commit to purchase.
He has built 2 rods for me and they are 2 of the nicest rods I have ever owned and my drugs of choice are; Sage, Scott, G-Loomis, Lamiglas, ST Croix, etc...

First off, almost none of the top US fly rod companies make 2 piece fly rods anymore.

Second, Grady is an "off the charts" fantastic rod builder.

Third, that is an amazing price for a new custom-built fly rod.

Especially when 'top of the line, made in the USA' fly rods are $1,000usd

I know Gary Loomis very well and he is known to many as a genius machine developer for rolling blanks.

They could write an interesting novel about Gary.
