    That is an amazing deal.

14'1" a little longer than average Spey rod, designed for longer casts on open water, Fall fishing with longer Scandi heads.

Not a Winter Run Skagit kind of rod.

    Pretty sure I am right...........

I text Dough Duncan, one of the top Spey guys I know about this size Spey rod, the 14'1" #7 line.

    "Hi Bill,

You could use that rod on most steelhead rivers. The Umpqua, Deschutes, or Cowlitz Rivers.

Probably a little light for the Clearwater River!

    Hey All,

Iv'e been watching this for some time now. This is perhaps the best big water rod that is considered a seven weight. Too small for the Clearwater? That is silly. This is a perfect rod for large water steelhead, wether it be the Clearwater, Snake, Skagit, Skeena, or any other large water that comes to mind. And at this price, well it is silly. If I didn't already have two of them I would certainly jump on this.

Thanks, that rod sold awhile ago. I actually purchased the 6wt 12’6 IV in its place. Probably my favorite Spey rod I’ve ever owned.
