At the CFF's beginnings, we bought around 50 or 100 of every new issue and sold them all.

After a few years, everyone had subscribed so we did not need to buy very many anymore.......maybe 12-24?

The CFF was very good for everyone in the fly fishing industry in California so we need a big thanks to Richard.

I think I still have Richard's premiere edition of CFF somewhere. His first publication coincided with my serious venture into this sport/art/science, and California Fly Fisher was a welcome site every month to guide me along. Being a 'homie' I really appreciated a fly magazine focussing on California! Good luck to you Richard... and it was good seeing you at your booth at the fishing shows. Definitely bitter/sweet for most of us I'm sure.
