Question Piranha in Local Sacramento Creek

I just saw a brief clip on KCRA Channel 3 News of a little boy holding a piranha he caught in a local creek. I didn't get details but the news said more to come later.

Any idea where this kid caught that fish? I haven't heard any more about it tonight.

I think this report on Piranha is from CFW.

    Wild stuff Tony.

In Florida, we have so many non-indigenous fish, especially in South Florida.

These "piranha" invariably turn out to be Pacu.

KCRA said Dry Creek near Antelope today. The DFG said it was probably a Pacu but the kid that caught it threw it back so there is no way to know for sure.
