Heh heh, been there. Super glue is flammable so that increases the potential for that to happen. I've had monofilament eyes suddenly burn much faster than expected too. I guess some deviation in the nylon manufacturing process resulted in higher flammability. Reminded me if when I was in the Army. I was a combat engineer and we used and trained in demolitions. We always tested our time fuse because every once in awhile you'd get a section that burned much much faster than it was supposed to. And you wanted to ensure you had plenty of time to put lots of distance between you and whatever it was you were trying to blow up.
