I would like to float my pontoon on Monday to fish for stripers. I have never floated this river and am nervous about going alone. Is there anyone who is interested in floating in their pontoon with me. Probably from Gristmill to Howe?

Can't do Monday, but I have floated it a fair amount in my Watermaster. No serious on water risks. Biggest risk is your car getting broken into wherever you leave it.Originally Posted by JohnS

Woodman, if you ever are going out and don't mind me tagging along for tips and help, I would appreciate it. Most of the time my schedule is flexible. Monday I'm fishing from 7am to 1 pm.
Is there any problem with anchoring at these flows (4k)? Would I be able to row against the current to refish a good run?
