    4 stroke. Awesome motor. Never used in salt or brackish water.

    Is this water cooled or air cooled. If this is the same one they sell at Sportsman's Warehouse it doesn't have a forward and reverse drive switch. This is a good motor for a 12' pontoon boat

    Yeah. The specs are at the Honda website. Honda made a quantum leap with these motors…well ahead of the pack. Essentially, tge Bentley of compact outboards. Guys use them on Sac driftboats..
