Here is a chance to buy an iconic fly rod.......the second run for the famous XP series by customer demand.

When Sage discontinued the XP series there was lots of whining and moaning from the customers.

So a few years later Sage came out with the VXP series which were some of the top sellers of the XP run.


Greg has a slightly used Sage VXP 796-4 that is 9'6" in #7 line size in 4 pc.

He wants $225.00 for it which is a bargain.

I texted him this morning and told him I would take it. Just need to arrange a time to pick it up. My goal is to learn the Trinity this fall/Winter and I think it will be the perfect rod for it!
