Texas anyone?

So,... we made the move to Texas- bought last year about 80 miles out of Dallas. We have a lake in the area, called Possum Kingdom, that has striper in the lake and the river below.

I haven't had a chance to get out there and am curious if anyone here has fished it, and has feedback.

The Hill Country is supposed to have some good warm water river fishing.

The clear Devil's River runs for miles through private land but floating it is supposed to be a great experience.

We are in north central texas, 30 miles west of Fort worth- 450 miles to Corpus Christi.

Devils river looks cool, that's about 350 miles.
