Default New Video Series on CA Salmon

    Hi fishy peeps,

Episode one of a new video series on CA salmon has just been released on YouTube. Here is the link:

    https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Ew6e36Ki-_U

I am partial to this series for a variety of reasons, mostly because the series will focus on wild Central Valley spring-run Chinook Salmon and the creeks where they live.

This is the first of a series of documentaries on the Where the Wild Roam channel. Up coming series will focus on other cool stuff like CA wolves.

Please watch at least a little bit of the link above, like and subscribe, and share!! Joe and Kyle from Where the Wild Roam are great guys trying to start a conservation oriented channel and I’d love to see it take off. Best fishes, Matt

    Thanks Charlie and Bill!

Spring-run Chinook are the coolest of all salmon. The adults are in the creeks April to October and many juveniles stay in the creeks over a year before leaving- acting just like little trout. I figure many spring-run spend half their lives in freshwater which is kinda wild…

Lots more spring-run content coming in future episodes of the series so please stay tuned!
