There are tons of YouTube videos about sight casting to Snook and other gamefish along the FL beaches.

This could be almost any beach on both sides of Florida, right now.

You can walk/wade with the low surf action and clear water and cast to cruising fish.

Or you can electric or poll a skiff just out from the beach and sight cast to gamefish.

I met a new fly fishing friend here in Sebastian, FL, Mike Saputo, who works for Montana Fly Company.

He is a really good fly fisher and superb fly tier too.

He has been walking the beaches, sight casting to Snook, Jacks and Barracuda.

Mike uses a 7-weight outfit, floating line, 12' leader and ties small flies to match the bait fish that are present off the beaches.

He said mid-day is best for sight-casting to the fish that are swimming very near the beaches.
