Davis lake , what is killing all the Catfish ?

Fished yesterday , dead and dying catfish all over the lake ! Also a few Trout .

Turnover can spread anaerobic water or toxins (methane and sulfur) through the water column.
-or-
Winter kill caused by unusually thick snowpack preventing sunlight from getting to the water which halts photosynthesis and resulting oxygen from being pumped into the water.

Rumors that DFW poisoned the lake are patently untrue.
