These Cam Sigler Poppers are heading to Mag Bay to hopefully get eaten by a few Marlin. They have a double 6/0-6/0 hook connected with 62lb Malin single strand wire and a leader with 80lb mono. These are for a customer, I'll be tying up a few for my trip in 9 days to La Ventana.
Just heard there were Wahoo eating purple trolled Rapala's off Cerralvo Island. One boat landed 4 decent fish and lost 2. Maybe, just maybe, they might hit a purple/white Cam Sigler popper. Tease them up with a live Skipjack then have the fly ready to cast. Also a few Yellowfin tuna in the area along with some big Roosters and Dorado.
