Default SouthFork of the Snake River

Fellas, we are looking to rent out our place in
Idaho this summer. It is located on the SouthFork,
In Irwin ID. It’s about 1.5 miles down from
Palisades Dam and it’s next to the 2nd boat launch
On that part of the river. It has a 4 car garage
Which is included in the 4000 sf the house is listed
At. Sleeps 8 people easy. We call it 4 bedrooms
and 4 baths. We’re starting it out at $425.00
Per night (Airbnb has it at $525.00 per night)
This river is fished by boat as it can run14-16,000
Cfs in June and July. There are endless gravelbars
And side channels to stop the boat and get into the
River. If anyone is interested feel free to call or
Text Rod at 9162257534. I can promise you this,
If you go there once, you will be there twice

You can view pictures of the place on Airbnb
It’s in Irwin Idaho, hosted by Rowena

Good base for fishing east Idaho. Not a lot going on in Swan Valley, but there's a small grocery store now!

Good fishing in the summers on the SF...PMDs, caddis, goldens, sallies, Salmonflies usually in early July. Definitely requires a boat and expect to have some company. About a 75-90 minute drive to good ramps on the Henrys Fork, same distance to the Salt, a little less to the Snake in Jackson. Two months' worth of walk and wade options within a reasonable drive.

All is true, but it’s a relaxed kind of company. It’s such a big fishery that it doesn’t really matter
You can anchor on a gravel bar and fish it for two hours or more and you can wave all the oncoming
Boats to fish it to. I fish it from June 25th thru the weekend after the 4th with more fish than you can handle

SF Snake is a fun fishery with plenty of room and opportunity. I'll be there with you on July 6 after some time at Henry's Fork and other ID gems. Hoping we're not too early for salmonflies.

We're in a typical May flow with cooler nights after a couple of HOT days. It's gonna be a late one on the SF this year, and most places.
