    Default Shack-nasties at 4700 feet

I know you folks in the Valley have been pummeled by rain...raising the rivers to unfishable levels, causing the highly infectious "shack-nasties".

Well, up here on the eastern side of the Sierra range we've been pummeled by snow and some pretty cold temperatures as of lately. All of my local fishing holes are frozen over for now and it looks like I won't be casting a line for another four weeks or so

The dreaded cause of the Eastern Sierra/Carson City Shack nasties.

Good thing I shoveled snow from the driveway yesterday morning @ 5 degrees instead of waiting for today!!!!!

Dang frozen water in the winter...................
