    Default WTB Lamson Litespeed Spool

Longshot I suspect, but I'm looking for a spare spool for a Lamson Litespeed, and there are two models that are interchangeable apparently and would work with my reel. One is the Litespeed G5, and I gather they labeled the spool sizes differently in different model years. It's the size that is rated for 4-6 weight lines, which was marketed as model 5+ at one time and model 2 in another. The series that is interchangeable with those is the Litespeed Micra 5, and it was offered the same way, as model 5+ at one time and model 2 in another, but again, in both cases for 4-6 weight lines. My reel is the solid black ("blackout") model, but I'm indifferent as to color with a spare spool. I don't log in to post all that frequently, so if you should have anything, kindly shoot me an email at [deleted]. Sorry for being cryptic about that, I'm just trying to stay a step ahead of the spambots that scour web pages for email addresses. Thanks.

Still on the lookout for this, but I'd like to clarify something. My reason for providing an email address was that I don't log in all that often, as the vast majority of the time I'm just browsing postings without logging in to respond, and I was concerned that someone might send a private message without me knowing about it for an extended time. What I didn't anticipate, but probably should have, is the number of highly dubious emails that I've gotten from non-members that saw this somehow, purporting to have one of these spools to sell. I'm not going to get into what makes them so suspicious, so as not to give the next person a roadmap as to how to better execute a scam, but I just want to make it clear that if you're not a registered board member, I will not be interested in buying from you unless you have some means to demonstrate to a high degree of certainty that you and the spool are real.

Extra spool sales were a big deal years ago but not so much now.

Lots of fly fishers just have multiple complete outfits now, especially in boats.

With the popularity of indicator fishing, no extra lines or spools are needed anymore.

**Sometimes, buying a complete reel is a faster, easier way to get an extra spool plus an extra frame and parts.
