Default New book on the history of the Klamath Basin......

A note from Herb Burton of the Trinity Fly Shop:

    "Bill,

Regarding the Klamath, I want to share a great catch. My good friend Justin Garwood, (Ca FW biologist for the Klamath/Trinity) along with Michael Kauffman, recently had their book "The Klamath Mountains," a publication about the natural history of the Klamath/Trinity mountains (the ultimate headwater source), released through Backcountry Press. Can't say enough about the book that is filled to the gills with a wealth of research and information/photos also supporting how unique and diverse the Klamath basin truly is.

OH- Next week October 26 (Wed) 6 pm. Both Justin and Michael will have a book signing and brief publication overview in Weaverville at the" Science on Tap" event held at Trinity County Brewery. Be good opportunity for people, especially visiting steelheaders, to participate and get hooked up."

Herb and Pat Burton have run a real top fly shop for many decades with a top guide service.

They are old traditionalist who teach/guide/and promote classic methods.

I'm pretty sure he does. Call them at 530.623.6757 or drop by to say hi. There is always something to fish for in the neighborhood.
