What is your preferred method for cleaning / caring for waders? Wash? How often?

Probably the worst thing for waders and rain coats is direct sunlight and/or high heat, like in a garage in Sacramento.

Watering is the single most important aspect of caring for waders. You need to ensure that they have access to clean water at all times. If they don't drink enough, then their digestive system won't work properly and they could become dehydrated. Wading birds are able to survive without drinking water for several days if necessary, but they do require regular access to fresh water. Click Here
