Fished this fly mid August on the Green's B-C sections along the river's edges. With not much bug activity compared to early July, terrestrials became the fly du jour. Lots of toothy critters obliged us in skinny water willing to play the hopper game. Really surprised how visible the poly yarn post was on this fly. It was noticeably better than fluorescent posts. The topwater bite shut down after entering the C section. We were told that the water temp was 63º previously by those in the know. We took a temp reading and discovered the water temperature had risen to 70º by the end of the day.
