In Northern California September can still be pretty warm in the day time but the nights are starting to cool off.

October is just wide open with everything but Shad on the bight.

November cools off more with shorter days but is still good for most fisheries.

I would try to plan some fishing this Fall.

Get something on the calendar of you will be "painting the fence with Huckleberry Finn".

Fall is the time for some fly fishing for trout, steelhead, salmon, stripers, and bass & panfish.

Let me know if you need any help planning a "one day" or "one week" or even a "one month" trip this Fall.
