Very difficult to contain this behavior when the only barrier to entry is just creating new accounts. Bill, have you considered a minimum post count or minimum “days of membership” before being allowed access to classified section or use of the PM function?

Fair enough, though I think the digital threat landscape and sophistication thereof is vastly different now than even last year much less 5 or 10 years ago. It’s certainly a buyer beware world on this and other forums if you cannot physically meet the person to undertake an examination and handoff of the item.

At some point you have to take some responsibility yourself and just be careful of scams.
