These were the first "good" waders I bought many years back and they lasted a ridiculously long time. Because of the vintage, they don't have some of the modern day bells and whistles, like exterior pockets, gravel guards, etc., but would seem to represent a great opportunity to get into a well made Gore-Tex wader for much less than the price of entry today.
I'd be happy to throw in a used but still very serviceable set of Simms wraparound Velcro gravel guards to make this good deal even better if the buyer wishes. Cheers, Chris.

We had a guy who was a school teacher and guide in Montana come in.
He said he would buy a new pair of about $100 stocking foot wader at the being of the summer.
He said they would not last one summer and so he had to buy another pair.
He was listening to other guides rave about the new Simms Gore-Tex breathable wader.
They talked about how easy they were to find and fix the small holes.
He told us he was going to "bight the bullet" and buy a new pair of Simms from us today for next summer.

You will hear people bad mouth Simms waders but overall I think they are still the best.
I have said before, your/our personal experiences with any product is immaterial.
That really pisses some people off but I took lots of science class at Sac State and one result in a text is useless.

Agreed, Bill. I can only say my own experience with Simms waders has been all good over many years. I usually send them in to the factory for refurbishing after several years of hard use and then get a couple more seasons out of them. Worth the price in my book. Best, Chris
