Sight In the Delta

I tried for bass today and did not do very well. Last week I caught a bunch and I figured I would stroll down there and catch a bunch more but the bass bite is damned unpredictable. Maybe the cool temps shut it down. Who knows. I did catch bass and small stripers so fish were caught but expectations were a little too high. The lack of fish allowed me to look around and see what else was happening in the Delta. Turns out when you stop fishing there is a lot to see. Clouds rolling through, some rain, shifting winds and a full menu of birds that are somewhat approachable in the kayak.

Unfortunately no fish pics today so by Board rules I had to post in the photography section.
