I literally just ordered three 10-foot Sawyer MXS oars and three Dynalite blades last week, new, from Sawyer... $1,280 including shipping.

I wish you posted these last week... are you upgrading, getting a different size?

    Default shaft length?

    Just to be clear:
    what is the shaft length?
You post says 10 FT total length
since the DyneLite blades are about 24"
does that mean the shafts are 8' ?

Good question Steven. My dyno blades are 30 inches long where they enter the graphite shaft. The wooden handles that enter the other end are 6 inches long so, as they say, do the math.

Hi John, sorry about that. I barged all my gear out of Ak where i used to guide katmai Park rivers, so with two cats and, several tents, a12x12 screened gazebo and bunches of camping gear... and a total of three sets of oars; one 10ft MXG, another 9.5 ft MXG, one 10ft Cataracts with magnum blades...
Im keeping one cat with oars while the other one is going elsewhere. So no upgrades. I preferred the 10ft MXGs in Ak just for ease of rowing more weight but the 9.5s fit easier in my trailer. I thought the Dyno blades would be easier to sell.

sixrivers... let me know if you want to go whitewater boating sometime... I just got back from the Smith (BoatSmith 2022), and live in the Gold County about a mile from the South Fork American River.
