I like Brian's boat. I ran into him one day out fishing for Shad on the lower Yuba and was admiring his ride.
I want one too. It might cost me, my spouse will lobby for a waterskiing boat instead. Will it pull a skier with the larger engine?
With 80ponies at the back I can't see why not, especially if you have a 4 bladed ss impeller, you won't go as fast but it will get up and out of its way extremely fast. If you do a person in the boat and the person running the motor I can't see why not.

"I have many loves and Fly-Fishing is one of them; it brings peace and harmony to my being, which I can then pass on to others."
~ Sue Kreutzer
Oh yeah, I know the old saying, "A boat is a hole in the water surrounded by wood (fiberglass/aluminum) into which you throw money". Doesn't stop me from having a couple already and wanting another one.

I love all boats because they take you too really cool places.
Some people have a bunch of different kinds of boats.
Try not to take more gear out than you really need.
Get 80% max HP or max HP.
Buy a boat for what you intend on using it for 80% of the time.
A nice fishing boat for 2 fly fishers can be $20,000.
A boat to take the wife, her sister and your brother-in-law out for a ride is about $50,000.
Don't buy a boat unless you can really use it.
Many boats and RVs just never get used.
If you are going to buy a boat send me a text or email.
