The Bishop Trout Rodeo is an on-the-water, catch and release fishing competition open to both fly and lure anglers.
The area that can be fished is any legally open water from the Upper Owens (Long Ears) to Independence and any fish caught is measured and released with the largest number of landed inches being declared the winner.
