    Default Lake Berryessa

I have 2 questions: 1- has the lake turned? & 2- what launching ramps are open?

I think most of the Valley low elevation reservoirs "turn over" in the Fall, Oct/Nov.

Lake Berryessa was a very popular place to find gamefish eating threadfin shad on top in the Fall 30 to 40 years ago.

Back then many fly fishers were going for this fisheries in many low elevation California reservoirs.

In the Winter trout are usually shallow and bass are deeper in these reservoirs.
