    Default Davis Lake level?

Anybody have a reliable source to determine water level at Davis lake?

I'd think this would be it:

    But I don't think it's right.

Click to the bottom of the page on your link. Click latest. Typical government interface. First things last.

Latest indicates 5762.59, 6 feet from full. I don't think that's actually the case

I go by water volume of the reservoir. 100% is usually 83K which would put the water's edge into the fingers that reach well back into the forrest at Eagle, Camp 5, plus other fishy areas, etc. Beautiful sight when full, plus full of fish, snail, damsels, blood midges, etc., like the 90's. It's rarely full, obviously.

Today, the water volume around 40K, up from the upper 30's just a month ago.

Eating lunch at Davis right now. From the shoreline the average water mark is just above my head. I'm 6'1".

Cool account of actual observation. 6-7' less water depth is a dramatic difference for that lake.

At least there aren't a bunch of new boating hazards. Eagle Lake is an obstacle course with all the tufa covered boulders just inches under the surface.
