Default Fly Rod Saves the Day

I expected a tough bite with the recent cold snap and the day started out extremely slow fishing conventional gear. Dug out the Switch rod around 10am and it turned out to be the deal for the rest of the day. I love watching that thing go under. Had a couple of lift bites also.

11'3" 4wt Echo TR Spey, Switch Chucker. Leader was around 12ft. Nice to get some use out of that rod.

Sorry for the crappy picture. Winter would really suck without spots. Bass live in beautiful places. I love the dark side.

That's a great picture! Really like and admire your adaptation. Beautiful place and conditions. That's fun fishing. Congrats.
