Thread: Aluminum Boat welder

    Default Aluminum Boat welder

Can anyone recommend a welder in the bay area that could reweld a small part on my pram (see Pic, I'm not sure what this part of the boat is called). It was made in Oregon and the fabricator said he would fix it but it's a long way for me to get up there right now so looking for someone local that can do it.

I would think any quality welding shop that has a MIG or TIG welding machine could fix it! They will have to grind off the paint to weld it, so you may want to get some touch up paint on the way! That pram looks sweet, who was the builder? Any complete boat pics.

Thanks for the info I'll check in with that welding shop.
The pram was made by Pyramid Custom fabrications in Central Point, OR
