    Cool Lil' Drifter Pram

I'm getting too old to lift this little jewel by myself any more. It's got everything you need from oars, to anchor, to electric motor, and even a deep cycle battery.

Every time I think about selling this I think about how much fun I used to have with it fishing the lakes up around our cabin, or salmon over on the coast. I hate to see it go. $750

Starting in the 1970s we all had so much fun in our 8 foot prams.

    We fish lakes for trout.

We fished the 'tidewater' of the NorCal coastal rivers for Steelhead and salmon.

We also fished for bass & panfish out of our little boats.

8 foot was the most popular 'one man pram' but some went for the 10 footers and even some got 12 footers.

PS: Tony, that is too cheap......but someone will enjoy it for years.

I remember when Ed Wahl got his little 8 foot black beauty......."the Black Pearl."

I feel for you Tony. I'd not want to have to sell my pram either. Pram's are different than owning a full on boat, way more personal.

If RSK buys it I may see it yet as the Black Pearl still haunts these waters. Arrgh!

Carl, nice shotguns come and go, great bird dogs as well, but I'll have to leave the Pearl to someone in my will.

Elwood: It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Jake: Hit it.

    Carl,

It's a little over 8' but not quite 10'. It does have two seats like the 10 footer.

As you and Bill were both saying I did price it too low. New the 8' is $2650, and the 10' is $3250.

Tony, it was great meeting and talking with you. Was able to get the pram out on its maiden voyage and it was just what I was looking for. Ended up with a surprise on the six wt. Towed me around the pond a bit.
    Thanks again,
    Russell

Way to go Russell. Great way to Christen the new boat. Now put it to lots of good fishing and be sure to post more stories and pictures.

Have fun, I know you will.
