I picked up a 2010-ish era orvis TLS rod so something in that vintage perhaps? Currently using an old battenkill 5/6, does fine but a bit lighter would be nice.

An old Orvis CFO III would be cool......or a Hardy LRH or a Hardy Marquis #4?

    How long is that rod?

yeah those all would be great the rod is 8.5, mid-flex they call it; a sweet casting rod for dries- so much so that I might dedicate it to just that- Id rather fish a dry all day.... I'm just getting old!~

It would, if I hadn't stopped at a shop in Seattle on the way to the airport and picked up a Redington Zero. Light and simple.

    Thanks for the offers all.
