    Default Redington Behemoth drag upgrade

Many owners of the Redington Behemoth enjoy the value in this reel but some had issues with water ingress in the bearing (particularly salt water) so here’s a better quality bearing you can easily retrofit. It’s a fairly common anti-reverse bearing and (e.g.) is used in the Shimano Calcutta (HFX NTN enscribed on the bearing) Hope this helps.

The part number is BNT5421 and is used in many reels including the Shimano Curado. It will fit all sizes of the Behemoth series.

If you type that bearing into Google you’ll get prices From $4 to $40 so look for ones that have 11 or even 13 rollers in them.

Thanks for the kudos Bob,but it's turned out the information I've provided thus far is incorrect (albeit no fault of mine I should add).
So apologies to all.The correct bearing is the BNT2396.
    Thanks and Cheers
