On the phone Bob Grace at Ted Fay Fly Shop said "late May" should be good.

He said it is still a little high and cold now.

Upstream nymphing in the pocket water all day and then dry fly in the late afternoon/evening.

In the Spring we use 2 size 12 nymphs with 3x tippet or 2 size 14 nymphs and 4x tippet depending on the flow/clarity.

Bob will have the right flies and good info about what part of the river to fish.

Any other things to check out while I'm there?

Watch out for the swinging screen doors at Cave Springs! they eat rod tips.....they start to close real slow and you think you can get inside carrying your rod then when you are threequarters of the way in with just the tip outside, SLAM they snap closed!
You can't buy happiness, but you can buy new fly fishing gear and that usually does the trick.

Watch out for heartless ceiling fans as well.

Common problem when fishing in the tropics.

I had a loved IMX that lost an inch or two to the screen door.
I will be looking out for those bastards.
    Thanks
