You can fool all of the people some of the time and Trump did that, but history will not be kind to him. I would not agree on him being a successful politician. He won one election and then proceeded to lose the House and the Senate and then the White House for his party. He passed one consequential bill, tax cuts, through reconciliation, and thats it.
