Got a big Snook today in the Sebastian River in Florida.
We were out with some friends in their nice new smaller 18 foot Sun Tracker pontoon boat, the "Bass Buggy" model.
It come with 2 livewells, a Minn Kota bow mounted electric motor and a Lowrance fish finder.
Not a great fishing boat but very comfortable for two old couples.

I just took a spinning rod and few lures with me "just in case"......
A few years ago I was at a 'standing room only' meeting of the Sebastian River Fishing Club and a local top guide said all he uses in
the Sebastian River was a soft plastic 'Vudu Shrimp'.

Here is a very nice Snook that I was very lucky to land as it ran near downed trees and dock pilings.
It was an epic battle and I was scared to death the entire time.
*I did not take much gear with me and left my Boga Grip and tape measure at home.
