I use to have a half dozen Abel "TR" reels for light action #3, 4 and 5 line outfits.
Actually my wife and I had a bunch of them.
Mine were all gloss black and Marilyn's are natural anodized aluminum or "Titanium" looking.?
We still have some of them.
As far as durability the Abel TR series is among the top of my list.
