Stripers Pull Hard

They really do pull hard. Here are a couple that pulled pretty hard today. One looked to be carrying eggs and was likely on her way to Colusa or somewhere like that. I was starting to think they had all left the Delta and gone upstream but we were able to find some. We cruised around in the boat and had to try a bunch of spots but a couple of them had fish and that was enough to make it a good day.

The motor on the boat seems to have been mounted a little low. Hopefully I can get that resolved.

The water is warming fast. With more warm days coming the bass should be on the job very soon. I am about ready to catch some.
