Got lucky on the A this morning. Not much happening but there are at least a few in the system. Happy 2021! Katz

Wow, that's impressive. Drifting or swinging, if I may ask?

Was there any caddis activity? I went Saturday afternoon as the drizzle wound down and was disappointed at the complete lack of hatch activity. Sorry, you have me all excited now...

It was pretty crowded early. Only a few fishermen left on the water at 10am. I saw one other steelhead caught at Sailor Bar. Looked like he was Euro Nymphing.... My arm would fall off!! Other than that a couple snagged salmon. There were a few caddis right when it was totally pouring rain about 10am???? BS, I still want to get that big cutty..... Someday! But today the short (and much safer) drive to the A was the better option. Good luck to everyone this year! K

    Looks like a wild male.....nice.

I believe that adult steelhead are going to eat mostly caddis larva on the bottom.

We get mostly Half-pounders on hatches.
