    Default TFO Finesse fly rod

Hey guys, I'm looking at getting a TFO Finesse in 3 wt for panfish.

Will this be a good choice for a panfish rod?

I had that rod for a while. Very nice, smooth casting, great for delicate dry fly fishing. Probably fine on smaller panfish, but any decent sized bass is probably going to be impossible to budge.

I have the TFO finesse 1wt 6'9" and it would make a small bluegill feel like a monster. That said, with patience and reasonable skills, that rod has landed trout in the 15-17" size class.

The big limitation of small rods is the size of fly they can cast, honestly.

I just bought the 8'9" 4wt finesse for my g/f for a Christmas gift. She kept stealing my Pro2 for dry fly fishing, so this is intended to hopefully fix that problem.
