    Default J. Ryall Fly reels

    I have (4) J. Ryall fly reels for sale. #4,6,8,10. The 4 is new in box, the others are easily 9.9/10. the 6 has two extra spools, the 8 and 10, 1 extra spool. I have a lot of pictures taken and can text them to you if you are interested. These are incredible reels and I'm looking to give them a good home....Call Mark at 530 713-6656 to discuss pricing.

    J. Ryall, Teton and Tioga reels are all very similar and have some kind of connection/history back in their day.

    J.Ryall reels were probably the nicest of the bunch.

    These were all very simple designed, durable fly reels.

    Because of the price the Tioga reels were a huge sellers and commonly paired with the TFO rods about 20 years ago?

    I worked for Teton/Tioga as a sales rep.
    Wes, who came out with the Teton actually worked for J.Ryall. The Teton was actually going to be a new reel in the J.Ryall's line up. It was going to be call the "Princess"
    The Tioga came out after the standard Teton. It had different porting which made it less expensive to produce. Tioga's were only offered in black, while the Teton was a gun metal gray.
