    Default Pyramid pig!

A friend of mine at Pyramid last Saturday struck it big with this pig! 22 lbs of big smiles.

    THANKS MARK

I suppose he was fishing without a ladder and using an indicator and a balanced leech too......

Seriously though, congratulate your pal for landing his "PIG".

Only thing that would have been better is if my ugly mug was holding that fish.

Yep, that was a hell of a fish. I was on my ladder next to him, very nice dude, think name was maybe Dave if I remember right. Biggest one I've seen personally caught out of the lake. Was with them when it was weighed and it was right at 22 after subtracting net weight. It took him over an hour to land it, his buddy waited patiently with the net, he was using 10 lb tippet and worried it'd break off.

Was happy I went last weekend, best fishing I've had at Pyramid yet, with the most fish over 10 lbs I've seen hooked in a weekend.

Bob, yes it was a balanced leech under an indicator he got that fish on, off of a ladder chair. Don't know if you're going out there this year but hope to run into you sometime if so.

Yah, I really NEED to get out there soon.........

I've had a couple of setbacks however............

A few of weeks ago, I somehow got the flu.
A week ago I had a re-lapse, or was lucky enough to get another dose of the flu.......
Let me tell you, getting the flu during this Covid crap plays pretty heavily in ones mind...................
It's enough to scare the stripes off of a zerbra........................

I've tied up a bunch of down-sized midges, tied a few new colored BL's, re-arranged my fly boxes, and re-tied my leaders, hoping to get out there soon.

My gear is ready as soon as I'm CERTAIN that I'm good to go.

You guys are killin' me with your big number days and pictures. keep up the reports please.

    Dang Cutthroats.............................
