Default November is a good month for fly fishers in Nor Cal.

It is cooling off but the water temperature in most place is still fishable.

Some will be on the Upper Klamath, Rogue and Trinity rivers chasing Steelhead.

This is normally the top month in the Delta for Stripers.

Pyramid Lake out of Sparks, Nevada is just starting now for giant Cutthroat trout and will go through Spring.

November is the top month for big trout on Eagle lake near Susanville, California.

Some of our larger trout streams like the lower Sac, Upper Sac, McCloud, Pit and Truckee river might still be OK.

Winter is also a good time to head south to the southern states like Florida, Louisiana, and Texas for inshore SW fishing.

Some will be going further south down to New Zealand, Argentina and Chili for their summer trout fishing.

**All this will possible be effected by COVID so be sure the check first.
