    I have some of those cases.....they will take quit a few fly rods in rod socks for travel or storage.

    As long as the sections are less than 40" all is well.

    I think it would take 4 piece Spey rods or Switch rods to 13 feet?

    Bill,
    I put a 11 ft switch in it and there was about 4" head space left. I wouldn't take my 12'6 spey.
